Celebrating Mercer sinks and its origins

Some 140 years ago, Mercer was established as a metal manufacturer in Christchurch (1884 to be precise). As the company grew over time, it expanded into stainless manufacture, eventually producing New Zealand's top selling brand of stainless sinks. Over recent times, the Mercer range has been expanded to include a wide range of sinks, taps and accessories along with commercial washroom products.

In 2017 Mercer Interiors became Acero and four years later was bought by NZ Panels Group.  At that time Acero business included the Wilsonart HPL and Durasein solid acrylic products which are now fully integrated into NZ Panels Group.  With that change complete, the Acero brand is no longer required and Mercer is the only name you'll see associated with our products.
